The building protrudes out into the canal while the allotment stays on solid ground.
Strength: views of the canal are maximised

Weakness: the canal might be too obstructed and the building is too small
Threats: people may be annoyed about the walkway being removed
Opportunities: building can be expanded into the allotment area
