The exterior of the project will house an allotment to bring the community together in an ongoing project to teach people about growing vegetables.
Why allotments?
They provide a sense of community in an area that may not necessarily have a good community feel, attracting a wide range of people. Allotments also encourage people to spend more time outside and gain skills in gardening and growing food
The Holmcroft Allotment Association in Stafford has been around for over 30 years and contains over 100 allotments owned by a wide range of people
