From the Pop Up Event I was able to determine the types of people to focus on for the project: unemployed, families and members of the older generations.

Why these types of people?

Unemployed people, older people and families are the main groups of people who struggle to fit into society within Stretford. From the pop up shop I gathered information that indicated a lack of a community feel in Stretford, and people wanted more activities to do within the town.
Unemployed people can have financial struggles and may not have the funds to be able to participate in social activities, so the project would need to involve a free community activity for people to take part in. The project should also provide jobs for these unemployed people.
Families may also have problems with money and may not be able to fund children's activities. The space needed to be family friendly as to avoid excluding certain parts of the society.
Older people may not have the means to research what social activities are available to them, and therefore feel very lonely. This meant the project would have to cater for the needs of old people, for example, raised allotment beds, social seating areas, coffee mornings and lifts within the building.
